Re: HQ Images From The 09/11/2001 Attack on the Pentagon
The bodies are in a pugilistic pose. Occurs due to the rapid heat and fire. Causes flexion of most joints. Aircraft parts are consistent. The pentagon is a heavily reinforced building, so an aluminum can, moving however fast will generally disintegrate on impact. Only the engines may maintain energy. But even those are mostly aluminum/titanium so their kinetic energy would be lost quickly.

Re: HQ Images From The 09/11/2001 Attack on the Pentagon
You guys ever see what a bird does to the nose cone of a commercial aircraft? Just asking. All the planes from 911 must have been fitted with triple platinum kryptonite nose cones the way they all managed to punch through structural steel and concrete and still have enough beans to make it out the other side! Either that, or physics decided to take the day off on Sept 11, 2001 |

I live right by the pentagon and was stuck on the metro for hours, that day. Also experienced the DC sniper and having to walk zig zag at gas stations. Pretty wild
