I don't think there was any blood evidence that pointed towards him. Although I think he must have helped her staging the crime scene after she had stabbed the boys and the damage was already done (in his mind). He seems like such a nerdy creep. Recently saw a crime documentary where a cop says that Darin was gushing over how pretty his wife was and how big her breasts were like 7 hours after the murders.

Turns out Darin had been shopping around for someone to help him stage a robbery about a week before the murders. A year prior to that he'd tried to hire someone to steal his Jaguar so he could cash in on the insurance money. She might have been in on it, but the idea was definitely Darin's.

they only concocted that story when it was coming up to Darlie's appeal. Nobody ever mentioned it until then. I don't believe a word of it.
