Re: Darlie Routier Crime Scene Pictures
This is the reason why they need to bring back executions from the Medieval era. Executions seem far too humane in this day-and-age There is always going to be prisoners who hear words of what an "IT" has done and carry out their punishment against the "IT". Unfortunately their acts of punishment are punished by the Government far greater than the Government has punished the "IT" What I mean by "IT", is because there is no word for someone who commits crimes such as these, whether they are sane or suffer from insanity. |

Re: Darlie Routier Crime Scene Pictures
She woke up when an intruder was on top of her trying to cut/stab her she says according to an inestigator in the YT vid below. She told the man's face was right over her but due to amnesia she couldn't remember how the face looked like. Later she told it was a white male. The boys were already killed by deep stab wounds. However: One kid was stabbed twice, almost impaled and the other 6 or more times in the back. Police arrived within three minutes of the 9-1-1 call and found no intruder only a window screen in the garage that had been cut which could be an entry or exit point for an intruder. The window sills in the garage had untouched layers of dust, including the window that had been cut, implying that no one had actually climbed through it, and the mulch in the flower beds between the garage and the backyard gate was undisturbed. However, one fingerprint was found on the windowsill which was determined in 2002 not to belong to anyone in the family however fingerprint expert Pat Wertheim would later testify before an appeals court that he could not rule out Darlie Routier's right ring finger as the source of the print. 4 days later she was arrested. The bloodied sock that was found 75 yards (69 m) away from the house. Lab tests revealed it had blood from both of Routier's sons on it. It also matched other socks from the Routier house which belonged to her husband Darin. The prosecution suggested that Routier murdered her sons because of the family's financial difficulties and described Routier as a self-centered woman, a materialistic woman, and a woman cold enough, in fact, to murder her own two children. Former cheerleader Darlie Routier had always been proud of her good looks. But after giving birth to three sons, she felt that motherhood was ruining her looks. Documents recovered from the trash included a letter showing that Appellant’s American Express account was $964 overdue and that her mortgage was two months past due. Tom Bevel testified that cast-off blood found on the back of Routier's nightshirt indicated that she had raised the knife over her head as she withdrew it from each boy to stab again. However Damon was alive when the paramedics arrived on the scene and the medical examiner testified that the boy could only have survived approximately eight minutes after receiving his injuries. Routier was on the phone with 9-1-1 for almost six minutes. The defense argued that this did not leave enough time for Routier to cut herself, stage the crime scene, plant the sock outside the house, and then return before the paramedics arrived. They also stated that, despite her injuries, Routier's blood was not found in the garage or anywhere outside the home. However the prosecution countered that Routier could have planted the sock before self-inflicting her own injuries, and the medical examiner's stated survival time for Damon after he was stabbed was only an estimation. However Tom Bevels name comes up in other cases that are confirmed or suspected wrongful convictions. Jason Payne (Texas) Warren Horinek (Texas) David Camm (Indiana) The following are cases where people were exonerated after having been convicted at trials where Tom Bevel testified on the side of the prosecution. Ron Williamson and Dennis Fritz (convicted in 1988; exonerated by the Innocence Project in 1999) Timothy Masters. More about the possible blood cross contamination: https://darliefacts.wordpress.com/blood-evidence/ The knife: At least one juror has emerged to state that he now believes Darlie is innocent and that he made a mistake in his decision to declare her guilty. The towel and pillow (cover): Towels found in the living room and the hallway confirmed claims made by Darin and Darlie that she had gone into the kitchen to get towels and also wet towels in the sink. Darlie’s Pillow: The prosecution contended that Darlie cut her own throat while she stood at the kitchen sink. However, blood from Darlie’s pillow (and the pillow cover) supports that her throat was cut while she was sleeping on the couch. Pictures of this evidence were entered as exhibits at trial, but the myth that there was no blood on Darlie’s pillow erroneously persists to this day. Before and during trial she showed little to no emotion and was more concerned she hadn't had her hair done. In a testimony she said that her husband had absolutely nothing to do with the killings. The boys life insurances was barely enough to cover the funeral costs while her husband's life insurance was $800.000 and he's still alive so that rules out a financial reason imo. It's impossible to escape though the garage window without disturbing soil or the layers of dust on the sills or leaving no blood traces from the killed boys imo. The staff at the hospital believed Appellant acted strangely. Appellant had a flat affect, while most mothers who had recently lost children were hysterical. Appellant described the events at her home to several different nurses at the hospital, but her various accounts contained major discrepancies regarding the number of alleged assailants, how she awoke, and where she found the knife. None of the hospital staff noticedsevere blunt trauma injuries to Appellant’s arms. Photographs dated four days after the offense, however, showed Appellant with severe bruising on her arms that could only have been caused by readily apparent, severe blunt trauma injuries received within the prior 24 to 48 hours, at least two days after the offense. Appellant also told different stories to her friend Barbara Jovell. First, she told Jovell that she awoke when she heard Damon say “Mommy Mommy,” and a man was on top of her stabbing at her throat. Later, she told Jovell that the man was rubbing the knife on her face and “looked like he enjoyed it." Jovell also testified that Appellant attempted to commit suicide about a month before the murders. One of the knives from the knife block in Appellant’s kitchen was covered in debris consistent with the fiberglass and rubber from the garage window screen. Bevel examined the bloodstains in the locations where Appellant claimed she picked up the knife—the utility room and living room. Bevel conducted a test in which he dropped a blood knife from wait height onto the utility room floor. None of the bloodstains found in the utility room were consistent with the stains generated by Bevel’s test. Bevel conducted a similar test in the living room, again, none of the stains found were consistent with the stains generated by Bevel’s drop tests, but one stain was consistent with the bloody murder weapon being laid onto the carpet. The kitchen floor showed “roll marks” caused by the wheels of the vacuum cleaner soon after blood was deposited on the floor. The roll marks went in opposing directions, consistent with someone picking up the vacuum cleaner and rolling it in different directions through the blood on the floor shortly after the blood was deposited. The vacuum cleaner had bloodstains on the handle consistent with someone grasping the handle with a bloody hand. [QUOTE]Alan Brantley, a Special Agent and psychologist assigned to the FBI National Center for the Analysis of Violent Crimes, reviewed the investigative reports, crime scene photographs, and witness statements. In his opinion, the boys were killed by someone they knew well, and the crime scene was staged. Factors that supported this opinion included: · The absence of similar crimes in the area; · That the area was generally a low-crime area; · The crime scene was “high risk” for a criminal, because other houses were nearby lights were on, a car was visible in front of the house, and the house was on a cul de sac; · The alleged point of entry—the window—was intimidating because of the animal cage immediately inside the garage; · Window screens are normally removed during crimes rather than cut; · The route through the garage was risky in the dark; · The initial focus on the children was unusual and risky given the presence of an adult; · The children’s wounds were dramatically different in type and severity from Appellant’s wounds; · Appellant’s statements that she chased the intruder out was inconsistent with typical violent crimes due to the disparity in her size and the described size of the alleged intruder; · Dropping a weapon while fleeing is risky and inconsistent with most reported crimes; · The location of the sock was inconsistent with a real crime because it was in the opposite direction of the exit from the cul de sac; · The children were low risk victims due to their ages and place in society, yet appeared to be the object of the attack, thus suggesting a personal motive for the attack; · The attack appeared to be a personal assault because there were no indications of theft or robbery; · The maximum damage to the children but minimum damage to property inside the home suggested a proprietary interest in the contents of the home; · The minimal damage in the living room or “Roman Room” was inconsistent with a struggle between two adults; · The position of the vacuum cleaner on top of blood stains suggests deliberate placement; · The absence of blood in the garage escape route; · The presence of window screen debris on a knife from inside the house; · The use of two knives from the same knife block inside the house in committing the offense was inconsistent because most offenders carry weapons with them to crime scenes and don't leave them; · The placement of one of the knives back into the knife block suggests a proprietary interest; · Jewelry was in plain view in the house but left undisturbed. Darin Routier disputed the State’s evidence that the family was in financial difficulty, but admitted that his business had slowed, he was behind on his taxes, was behind on his office rent, and had large credit card debts. Appellant claimed she used the vacuum cleaner like a cane to support herself, and that she took the vacuum cleaner with her when Officer Waddell ordered her to sit down. She also admitted that Glenn Mize—whom she had identified as a suspect—did not commit the murders after she viewed him in open court with Detective Frosch. She did not believe she could sleep through the stabbings of her children and the attack on herself—instead, she felt that she could not remember the attacks. Appellant also did not remember making her many inconsistent statements to the nurses and staff of the hospital. Appellant admitted, however, that she had called in to a radio program after her arrest and stated “she knew what happened in the house that night.” Appellant also admitted that she had written letters to friends and family in which she claimed that she knew who committed the murders. In fact, Appellant had identified both Glenn Mize and Gary Austin as the intruder even though she testified that she did not remember the attacks A retired homicide detective who interviewed Appellant for the Rowlett Police Department after her arrest for three hours. During the interview, Appellant never denied killing her children. Parker confronted her several times with his belief that she had killed her children. Each time she replied: “If I did it, I don’t remember.” More in PDF file. I think she or she and her husband are in to it. https://www.tdcj.texas.gov/death_row...ierdarlie.html |

Re: Darlie Routier Crime Scene Pictures
You “wish her luck.” ??? *♀️ there is no such thing. I live here in the great state of Texas, which thankfully has the Death Penalty… I lived in the city next to Rowlett (Mesquite), and you ought to know your facts because I know mine. She is guilty beyond a reasonable doubt ! Texas does not put women on Death Row for frivolous reasons, just saying… There were too many things wrong with her story, timeline and crime scene evidence (and I have seen all of it) to even entertain the idea she is innocent. Even today as I watch her interviews on death row, I see emptiness in the way she talks about her kids…that she killed. Maybe she suffered from some postpartum depression like Andrea Yates, but unlike Andrea she is on death row. Andrea’s really beyond hope and in a psychiatric hospital, probably for the rest of her life because she has no basis in reality. This woman, has only hatred for and at the very least, indifference to her own dead boys. There are many telltale signs when people are lying, and I see them every time she speaks on her innocence. Just my opinion, but I live here and I support the death penalty. I may make some enemies for saying these things, but I know what I know - and the sock was the only the loose end I couldn’t get my mind around, except that perhaps she discarded it after stabbing both of them in a storm drain a few doors down. |
