That totally contradicts the scanner traffic with the dummy rounds, and no one ever broadcast that suspect was shooting from the boat. Either that guy is confused or he is bold faced lying to try to make themselves look more like heroes than they already are.

I know they had a helicopter(s) in the air..roughly around 1am. Heard a Police Officer request that the helicopter use the light to shine on certain spots. So, I know for a fact that around 1am, they did have at least ONE helicopter aiding them.

I hate to be a bitch, but I call BS. I think this guy is lying or really exaggerating at least. The mother had severe head trauma, having been one of the first in surgery and will be brain damaged for life. How she would be sitting up fully coherent, cradling her son and speaking normally when her brains been crushed or impaled by shrapnel? He says they were going to put a blanket on Martin - that would have been at best 2 minutes later. I find it very hard to believe that something that lead to her current condition wouldn't have "kicked in" while she neglects her other kid.

This link he says he attended to someone else first so at least add a minute more on there. And her daughter was missing a leg too. No mention of seeing her or seeing the mother with her? She just leaves her lying around with a leg blown so she can hold onto the boy who didn't survive and try to refuse to go to the ambulance to hold her son?

I don't see much of a difference between his story in the two links. I have not heard anything of this woman's particular injuries but sometimes the effects of head trauma are delayed. People are not always knocked out instantly, there could have been swelling or a bleed that caused brain damage later.

Why would someone lie about something so publicly when they could be called out on it by others at the scene?

Been sick..decided to go through and attempt to make some sort of timeline with the recordings I have. These are all from late night on the 18th to early morning on the 19th. Ended up finally going to bed as the search died down. Woke up and started recording again around 1pm or so, but they kept D/Cing feed and the Police kept bitching about batteries.

Would just like to add, I know PD operates on different channels, but one the channel I was listening to, they still gave info on the situation and were pretty much open about what was happening as it happened.

I've heard that suspect 2 stole a vehicle, but PD didn't mention him running over suspect 1 at any point. Why leave that out if they are reporting everything else? I just found it odd, but I could be wrong.
