He originally got the death penalty but it was commuted to life when CA abolished the death penalty in 1972. I agree with you it seemed harsh for someone who never actually did the killing. But one could argue Hitler never actually pushed a button in the gas chambers or pulled a lever. Did he even kill any Jews? But having that much power and influence over people makes is dangerous. I mean both of them still have followers.

I didn't know her name but I knew it wasn't Tate, the cut on her chin or the lack of a cut gave it away. I watched "The 6 Degrees of Helter Skelter" recently and it was an eye opener to what went on. For those that think Manson was just a conduit for murder then watch that docu, it will change your mind. The cowardly bastard was caught hiding in a cupboard when caught, all 5ft 2" of him.  |

She wanted her baby, that's why it disgusts people. She begged for her child's life. What the fuck the cold blooded murder of a pregnant woman has to do with the debate on abortion is fucking beyond me. The two subjects are not even mildly related. |
