Some notes and musings from the testimony...

The ladder:

@1:46:30 Biggs Asks Wray about the ladder on the roof. Wray says he knows he purchased a 5' ladder(note: not long enough to get on that roof) but did not find the ladder on the scene and still no understanding of how he got up there.

@2:16:00 Rep Massie brings up the taller ladder, Wray dismisses conversation about it, goes back to having possession of the 5 foot ladder.

@3:00:00 Wray says evidence response teams now suggest subject got onto roof via mechanical equipment on the ground and piping, he didn't use a ladder to get up there.

*Still no mention as to how the concealed 8 foot ladder got there and multiple attempts to pivot conversation back to the 5 foot ladder purchased, very suspicious*

Weapon details:

@1:50:20: Biggs gets confirmation again on 8 cartridges on the roof. Shortly later when asked if the cartridges match the shooters rifle Wray responds "my recollection is yes". When asked if they've done analysis to confirm that Wray responds "well, we work with ATF but yes, some of the work has been divided up". More deflection.

@1:52:50: When asked if the gun was already on the roof or he carried it up there Wray says he doesn't know yet but gives new information that the rifle did have a collapsible stalk.

@1:53:32: Biggs: "Did he have a scope?" Wray: "I believe so, but as I sit here I don't remember"

Misc:
@1:54:00: Various information about the drone. No pictures or video on the drone, drone was found in shooters car and was used for roughly 11 minutes, between 3:50pm-4pm. They reverse engineered the flight path of the drone to find Crooks was surveying the area behind(away from rally) what would be his perch. I presume this was likely done to plan an escape by foot or by bicycle.

@5:35:00 and other various times it's mentioned Crooks also had a laptop and a google search from July 6th was for 'How far away was Oswald from Kennedy?'. *Note: This was the same day Crooks signed up for the rally.*

Other notes:
-Steam profile tied to Crooks 'Jan 13th will be my premiere' was a copycat.
- 6:09pm Shooter was identified on the roof, one minute later counter sniper team was notified. At 6:11 Crooks shoots 8 rounds, one minute later Crooks is shot at once and killed.

Final thoughts: If the purpose to all of this is to instill confidence into the American people that our agencies are honest and forthright they are doing an incredibly shitty job.

Full Bodycam Shows PA Officers' Encounter With Trump Shooting Suspect

Newly released bodycam footage from the assassination attempt against former President Donald Trump captures the moment an officer popped his head above the roof and saw the shooter pointing a rifle his way.

Just 40 seconds after a local police officer was hoisted up to the roof by a colleague, saw the gun and quickly dropped to the ground, Thomas Matthew Crooks began firing, according to video released by the Butler Township Police Department.

Crooks’ bullets killed one spectator, wounded two others and nicked Trump’s ear before a Secret Service sniper felled the shooter.

One clip shows the officer’s perspective as he’s being hoisted up, peeks over the edge of the roof and hastily drops down, while another captures the chaos that ensued as cops tried to gain access to the roof after Crooks opened fire.

the video you linked doesnt show any of that. it starts after the shooting happened already and the cop scrambling to tell people to stay away.

I was working in butler all last week, and I took my drone out for a little flight. Was able to get a bird’s eye view of the area. Here’s are some stills from the video…guess someone put the bleach to good use.
