A 17-year-old shooter killed himself after fatally wounding a female student in a shooting at a Nashville high school on Wednesday, police said. Metro Police identified the fatal victim as 16-year-old JCE and the shooter as 17-year-old SH in separate posts on X. Nashville police spokesperson Don Aaron said during a news conference that two others who were injured in the shooting at Antioch High School are being treated at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Aaron said there were two school resource officers in the building when the shooting happened. They were not in the immediate vicinity of the cafeteria where the shooting took place, and by the time they got down there, the attacker had shot himself, Aaron said.

The school, with about 2,000 students, is about 10 miles southeast of downtown Nashville.

School officials asked parents not to go to the high school to pick up their children. They were asked to go to a nearby hospital instead. Students will be bused there as they are released from the school by police.

The shooter was an active social media poster. He posted a 51 page racist and antisemitic manifesto where he refers to himself as an involuntary n-word. Past postings include a video of him encouraging Arabs to kill Jews, a pic of him in a nazi costume wearing fake body armour, and a creepy vid where he wears a mask and creeps around his yard brandishing a knife, and footage of a vr game of an active shooter in a mosque.

You are not missing anything. This appears to have been a murder-suicide, but from the shooter's social media profile, he likely did this at school for the publicity.

From what I've seen, there is no livestream or 3rd party footage that shows the shooting. His short, jerky livestream mainly films his feet. It shows him in the hall trying a locked door and cursing, and other students chattering. He apparently reaches in his backpack to pull his gun, as his livestream ends.

There is a vid from another student who is hunkering in side wing of the cafeteria where the shooting took place, so I assume the shooter spooked the students by brandishing. Anyway, all you see in this vid is kitchen counters as 2 shots go off, spaced by a few seconds: One for the victim (girl) and another for the suicide. Then there's a few seconds of students exclaiming OMG as the video films more kitchen counters, then this video also cuts off.

From the shooter's social media profile, he was involved in sketchy, degenerate pursuits like Nazis and enjoyed role-playing violence.

RIP to the victim.
