Politics are directly involved so they are allowed to be discussed in this thread. One of the few exceptions outside the cooler.

Heated debates are expected but do try to do it without excessive name calling or telling someone to go off themselves... and the like. This is NOT the watercooler.

Regarding this situation and the debate going on here... the 2 party political system in the US is pro at dividing it's people. This thread is a great example. We are so preoccupied with who's right, who's wrong that we've become pro at slapping labels all over other human beings then judging them for it based on our molded views of the world.

This shit is so broken and the further divided it gets, the harder it's going to be to fix. But that needs to happen from the very top. Sadly, I know it won't be done in my lifetime.

I don't like either choices we're left with but neither of them deserve to be assassinated. People playing god with other lives doesn't sit well with me.

Totally agree, but as you can see, most of the vitriol is coming from folks who aren't exactly playing with a full deck of cards.

It's only going to get worse from here; no matter the outcome in Nov, we're in for some dark times.

The world is watching, and our adversaries would be smart to capitalize. They likely will.
