Simo Häyhä , Finnish Sniper had an explosive bullet hit him in the head. His fellow soldiers chucked him on a pile of dead bodies and called it a day. He wasn't dead, went on to become one of the most prolific snipers of all time.

USA Today did quote an FBI statement with the name in it, but I can't find any written statement of it. Not a generic "FBI has confirmed it was..." but actual quotes of a statement.

I still want to find the actual direct statement, but hopefully this provides something of assistance if you want to go down the rabbit hole yourself.

I do not believe that Trump is one of the christian fascists. He's a right wing political candidate, the legitimate nominee of one of the two most venerable political parties of the country. The murdered bystander was exercising his right to peacefully express his political opinions and support the candidate of his choosing. What happened here was an ACTUAL "attack on democracy."

All at the hands of some skinny kid, planning and acting alone, right under the noses of SS and LE? They really, really couldnt have averted this? They really, really didn't notice the shooter up there until shots were fired and someone was dead?
