I agree if you're talking about an average person.
But if someone's extreme views have the possibility to be forced onto a whole nation it's completely different.

I'm trying to figure how the Secret Service didn't see this guy for either 2-3 minutes or 4-5 minutes, according to two different witnesses. These people were telling police and Secret Service for that long.

Now people like Musk and some Billionaire that endorsed Trump are calling on the Head of Secret Service to resign.

I almost think the Secret Service agents there may have been in on this. This could have been any president and it doesn't seem like a sophisticated assassination plot from what we have now. Some guy outside of the perimeter climb a building with a rifle, while people told both police and Secret Service, and then anywhere from 2-5 minutes later shot the former president of the United States.

I've seen a lot of the 10s video of "I hate..." clip but this longer clip looks like the same person but his mannerisms and voice/talking is nothing like it. The first upload of this I found was quickly taken down. Not sure how long this one will remain. Is this the same dude? Is that short clip altered or fake or did he just change is voice and mannerisms for it? If Twitter takes this one down too, I have it backed up now.

This is where critical thinking is required.

There is a claim from one Republican congressman that requests for additional protection were refused. That claim has been reported by Fox News. (I looked for other major news outlets that carried Mike Waltz's claim and couldn't find any).

CNN report that protection was recently increased. They cite sources, which they obviously feel are sufficiently credible to rely on, and they have knowledgeable commentators live on air who say the same thing.

The first thing to understand is that both of these things can be true at the same time. For example, Trump may have requested more protection last year and that was refused - but now that conventions, campaign and election are approaching the protection could have been increased recently.

A claim from one Republican congressman published on Fox isn't enough, in my mind, to rebut what CNN have published. However confirmation bias is strong in many people, so if the Fox report fits the narrative they believe in then Fox is going to be more credible that any other outlet.
