But what nobody seems to be talking about is if he is exonerated and it's declared the officer did nothing wrong. Will that city go ape shit? Or even worse, will it spread.

The coroner report backs up the cops version so that leads me to think its the correct one, a bullet wound to the palm from having a hold of the weapon when fired.
