Re: St. Louis Riots After Cop Kills Unarmed Teen
I do agree with you to an extent that it has gotten a lot of publicity. But I believe for other reasons. I believe that such stories get so much play for the sole purpose of dividing people so the elite can keep the lower and middle classes pitted against each other thus keeping the majority of the population from uniting. They know if we ever did get our shit together it would be the end of them and their stranglehold on the power they have.

Yeah next time an unarmed white teenager gets gun downed by a cop (which actually happens a lot but nobody gives a shit) I'm gonna go cause havoc because my race is being brought down. Try not paying attention to every cnn breaking news story and have a mind of your own

Re: St. Louis Riots After Cop Kills Unarmed Teen
I live in the STL metro area. The area this happened in is completely disgusting. I drive through similar areas daily while on the way to work. The constant black on black murders and shootings in this and other STL county communities never cause anyone to bat an eye. No one is ever up in arms about their own inability to act civil. I wanna see video from their free gov't cell phones and let the real story be told. |

Re: St. Louis Riots After Cop Kills Unarmed Teen
I'm sure you'd feel the same way if rioters burned down your house and beat you to death because they were unhappy with the actions of the Police Dept. It's easy to say that rioting is no big deal when it's 2000miles away. I swear, fucking Hollywood types blow whichever way the politically correct breeze is going. By your logic it should be ok for lynchings to take place if the level of community outrage is high enough - i mean, who can trust the justice system to serve justice? Better to just drag a suspect to the nearest tall tree and string them up... screw trials or waiting around - we're upset now!! |

Re: St. Louis Riots After Cop Kills Unarmed Teen
It makes me laugh when any minority does this: riot, loot and just cause general mayhem when something like this happens. All it does is feed into the stereotypes that people believe already. I am a firm believer in 2 wrongs don't make a right. Protest, yes but don't burn your own fucking neighborhood.Don't loot the your neighborhood stores, fuck it's no wonder nobody wants to put new businesses in minority neighborhoods. They're afraid that you guys will burn it down as soon as you think you have been wronged. The hate just continues. And the cops got stop having attitudes that they are always right and treat people a little bit more respectfully.Same goes for civilians you have to give police respect too. This all boils down to pride. Nobody wants to appear weak, so nobody backs down and when nobody backs down, then you have problems. Like people ending up dead or hurt.

Re: St. Louis Riots After Cop Kills Unarmed Teen
i get what you are saying... taxpayers. But also realize that every city and every police station operates within budgets. If they use money for one thing it takes from another. Maybe the police dept has to go without their tanks for a few more years. Maybe they wont have as much money to waste on ObamaPhones. Either way, taxpayers already paid for the tasers and pepper spray that cop had on his belt, when the cop decided to use the firearm against an unarmed man. Maybe his taser's battery was dead from shocking little old ladies in wheelchairs earlier in the day.....
