Re: Sri Lanka Easter Morning Bombings kills at least 207
Religion is a form of mental illness. Like all illness, some forms are more virulent than others. Anyone over the age of ten who believes in an afterlife and in gods, is delusional. One day this sickness may go the way of polio and small pox. Imagine there's no heaven No hell below us Above us only sky |

Re: Sri Lanka Easter Morning Bombings kills at least 207
Wonder what explosives they used ? They killed a ton of people so it probably wasn't black powder or smokeless powder bombs (ie. the stuff used in the boston marathon). I'm not sure if it was TATP either (the stuff used in the Brussels bombings and other European attacks) given that they evidently had a large amount of whatever explosives they did use given that they build dozens of bombs (since TATP is highly sensitive, especially when making large amounts). I wonder if it was some military grade stuff like RDX or C4 but that leaves the question of how did they acquire it (possibly by either stealing or buying from corrupt organizations that had access to it like mining companies or the military) ? I guess we will just have to wait and see unless anyone has a news source with definitive proof

Sri Lanka is a third world country. From what I gather, military weaons and military grade explosives are much easier to obtain than in The West. So, I am guessing Semtex and/or C-4 was used. These people tend to have the financial backing for those types of materials. |
