Incredibly talented singer. He could sing soft and pretty or loud like ac dc. i just don't get it-- high school drop out turned coveted musician and multi millionaire, yet he hangs himself. What in the world could possibly be wrong?? Most people would have eaten shit to have his life. |

You sound lost. Of course no one was around ... dude wanted to kill himself. Mental illness is a bitch, but guess what else is? This guy. He had the money and the resources to get help for any illness he may have had. & I don't want to hear any of the "he was ashamed" or "there's a stigma" bs either. There are now 6 frigging kids w/o a father ... stigma that. He's a pussy that could have left a legacy behind, but instead he leaves more pain than he ever probably went through in his entire life. I hate it for those kids.

Didn’t he speak out against suicide a couple months earlier after the loss of his best friend Chris Cornell? They both died by hanging in the same manner. Does anyone know if the autopsy has been released or the toxicology for Chester Bennington? Such a wonderful and talented person. Just listening to his lyrics you can tell he was so passionate and struggled with major depression. But we all thought music was his therapy.
