Re: Linkin Park Singer Chester Bennington Hangs Himself
Me and my little brother also talked about that yesterday that why would a rich person not use drugs or buy a firearm instead of hanging. And to monkeyblitzkrieg we take it harder because to me he was an important part of my childhood and i suffer enough everyday knowing that my childhood is further and further away and now once again another part of my childhood has died |

You're asking why this person is receiving.special attention for his death. Well its very simple dumbass, he created art and shaped the way people think and you're a NOBODY get it? |

Re: Linkin Park Singer Chester Bennington Hangs Himself
Well, you didn't thought this all the way through: Chester was very close friends with lead vocalist of Soundgarden and Audioslave Chris Cornell. They were so close that Chester was a godfather to one of Chris' kids. Saying that, Chris Cornell committed suicide in May 2017 - by hanging himself. Now if you look at the Birthday of Chris Cornell, it was July 20, 1964... Chester committed suicide in the morning of July 20, 2017, the birthday of Chris. For me this sounds like he didn't wanted to witness the first birthday of Chris after his suicide... So he took the same road that Chris took. One Thing I think is really sad, is that Chester was alone on this important day. Neither his wife, bandmates or other friends were with him... I don't want that to sound like I blame any of them, it's just tragic, and maybe if he wasn't alone this on this day, this could have been prevented... Mental illness is a bitch... RIP Chester, you were a big part of my youth. |

Re: Linkin Park Singer Chester Bennington Hangs Himself
im sorry but being rich absolutely does not mean sophistication 1) He was sober so he would've had to go out of his rock bottom state to get some. 2) Apparently they found an alcohol bottle in the room and that could've meant it was the trigger to him deciding that on the spot. Hanging is usually either a poor man's choice or a desperate one, which honestly is what this look like from having just lost his good friend and being under the influence of alcohol on said friends birthday. but honestly under no circumstances we can really know what went through his mind. just my point is he was rich but still came from a very broken home, had been a user and had strong depression |

Re: Linkin Park Singer Chester Bennington Hangs Himself
Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. Nothing is ever that bad. Life can be great or it can be shit - usually a mix of both, but you get one shot at it on this earth. Why do that to people who love you? I think most on here will have felt utter despair at some point in their life. It's one of the reasons we come here - call it catharsis or something but there's always someone worse off than you. One look at the pic/vid section confirms that. Live your life for as long as you have it. Don't end it even earlier. We are so fleeting. |

No. Sometimes it is that bad. Usually though, we are having the experience of things being 'that bad' when they actually are not. During those times, things like this can take place. Especially when thoughts have built up in our minds and torture us. It's generally the thought based mental realm that causes suicide. |
