At my ex-girlfriend's High School, they didn't allow any religious symbols.
She used to wear upside-down crucifixes, and pentagrams.

When they told her to take it off, she asked them why, and that was the reason she was given.
She then asked how come people were allowed to wear normal crosses.
They told her "That's different."

I used to be obsessed with black crosses back in high school, and was told to tuck my necklaces into my shirt or go to the office. I was so pissed.

i think if you want a prayer to be preserved keep it to yourself, you look at it don't make everyone else and yes your MAKING someone look at it by displaying it on a wall in a public area, it is a public school it is mandatory for children to receive schooling since we are not trying to teach ignorance put your chants on the walls of private schools or better yet not at all religion is just ignorance in its finest. we have all seen what happens when people blindly fallow (*cough *cough the holocaust) which is pretty much what all organized religion is or wait there is another word for it hmmm isn't it CULT.

Well when you drive drive through the hood how do you feel about all the graffiti on the walls? And do you say anything to the people standing on the street?

well let me think here I live no where near a hood as you put it, most of the graffiti that gets painted around my area is welcomed and is aesthetically pleasing and as for the small amount that is not GETS PAINTED OVER!!!!! kind of like what this girl is trying to get done. As for saying anything to the people standing on the street in the hood I have no reason to say anything to them, chances are if it is unwanted graffiti they aren't going to be staying around long they will get arrested. lets think a little harder before typing next time.
