Re: CHINA: 6 Killed, 7 Hurt in Hunan Bridge Collision
i got rear ended by a Wang once in the dirty midnight streets of shanghai. didn't even know he had entered until he finished by hollering out what sounded like silverware falling down a staircase. I miss ole Wang and imagine he's still out there rear ending tourists.

Re: CHINA: 6 Killed, 7 Hurt in Hunan Bridge Collision
I'm guessing the force of the impact caused his foot to move from the brake to the accelerator and they didn't notice. Thought they were still standing on the brakewhen really they were standing on the gas. That's what happens in almost all of those uncommanded acceleration accidents people think they're standing on the brake but in fact they're standing on the gas or possibly both. In the moment of panic your brain can't comprehend that you're not stepping on the pedal you think you're stepping on. It's like when you're at the toll booth and the car next you pulls ahead youre convinced you're moving backwards briefly.
