Brings back memories of getting underway... I was on a smallboy Oliver Hazard Perry Class frigate... As safety Corpsman, always on the foc'sle (front of the ship) for "Special Sea and Anchor detail" every time we go out to sea... You never know when that shit could happen.. These days new synthetic lines are made out of kevlar now and they dont have the snapback as the nylon mooring lines  |
