Woman Dies During Tug-of-War Competition After Rope Snaps
A tug-of-war competition in South Sulawesi, Indonesia, claimed the life of 43-year-old M.. Apparently, the rope snapped, sending the woman flying and causing her to smash her head on a concrete road divider. The competition, involving 5,000 participants, was held in order to break an Indonesian record.

I'm shocked that her headscarf didn't provide more protection.  That said, of all the dumb ways to die, this is pretty far up the list for me.
