You can see the shoe on the sidewalk right where the fight was taking place, so I don’t think he was just some random guy, he was involved in the fight prior to the beginning of the video. Odds are good that someone in that brawl knows who the shooter is.

Just some observations and a theory I made for fun:

When the girl says she's 16, it seems to be directed at the cameraman, he'd already know that if he was with her, and she wouldn't feel the need to justify her actions.

The cameraman laughs at the display of... merciless brutality?...and doesn't take it seriously until the fight goes to the ground.

I dont know if the two older men we see, whom I'll refer to as Jethro (holding a cup), and Billy Bob (wearing sunglasses at night), were directly involved or not.
- Jethro taunts someone with a "come at me bro" stance.
- Billy Bob sees the shooter coming.

I think the guy sitting in the passenger seat of the white car yelling "ayy ayy you motherfucker!" could be the dude that got shot, they sound similar to me, and the shirt color seems like a match. Could be Jethro though.

You hear the victim say "get the fuck off my girl"... which makes me question why he let the fight go on for as long as it did before stepping in, especially if that's his baby momma (but would make sense if he was busy fighting the shooter)

My theory:
The fight started due to a road rage incident caused by the 16 year old and her friends (including the shooter), they are followed to the store by the couple who want to get the girls information to report them for insurance/law enforcement, they refuse and things get physical, the victim and shooter tussle where the shooter promptly gets his ass beat, losing a shoe in the process. After son-ing the shooter, the daddy turns his attention to his girl while the shooter, confused and enraged at having a father figure in his life for the first time, goes to his car to get his gun to save face in front of his party that includes (at least 1) under-aged girl with whom he may have a questionable relationship with.

Admittedly, this is not a very good theory because I make a lot of assumptions, just having a little fun speculating on what could be happening here... don't come at me.

I would typically agree. Unless it's your girl getting beat down in a 2 on 1. And in that situation why even let it get that far.
