Re: Vancouver 2010 Accident (WITH NEW VIDEO&SOUND!)
Poor guy, trained so hard only to die at 21 on a practice run. Where the fuck is the safety barrier?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Yeah square steel poles should do it I think they should strap the guy who designed this to a luge and send him down the track.... maybe set him on fire too!! |

Re: Vancouver 2010 Accident (WITH NEW VIDEO&SOUND!)
take a deep breath and relax buddy... this is one of many accidents that happened in practice in the past few days on this course. the last to die in one of these things was in 1981, but that was a bobsled...on the news they said that it was partly his fault, due to inexperience. they even said something to that effect at the opening ceremonies. tragedy none the less though. i say he should have bailed earlier, and not clung to his boardthing....whatever sources... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...#Winter_sports |

Re: Vancouver 2010 Accident (WITH NEW VIDEO&SOUND!)
Hahaha... Sucks to be him. Hopefully someone at the opening ceremony will trip & impale themselves on the flagbearers flag just to give me another good chuckle. Lets be honest about this shit. The only reason we watch these brainless dicks career down & ice shute at 100 miles per hour is to see them fall off & fuck themselves up like this dilpickle. Honestly who gives a rats arse about Luge or who wins gold in this butt fucked retarded event. How is this shit considered to be sport anyway. Its no much a sport as is syncronised swimming ! I think the idea of steel girders positioned at the perilous corners was a master stroke by the track designers. Where is the interest if they flip into a safety net or a padded foam pit. |

Re: Vancouver 2010 Accident (WITH NEW VIDEO&SOUND!)
I don't see the purpose of the media bringing it up every five minutes. Luge is a dangerous sport and Whistler has the rep as being a dangerous and fast track. I just hope our games(I'm CDN) don't get stained with this the whole time. It sucks he died yes, it's a shame and thoughts to his family yes,but the need to dwell on this longer than yesterday FUCK NO!!!! It is a sport sadistic as you need as much muscular definition as possible to try and lean with authority whichever way to steer when the average G force you body is subjected to is around 5G's. But it's still a small part of the games as a whole and I figure let's just move on. If for any reason to spare his teammates and his family to have to watch that shit repeatedly evry half hour ont the half hour. |
