Yeah...and that's the fucking problem of having a hundred million guns in your country. You don't get a gun that easily in Europe. Yes, it's possible to get one, but you have to work for it. You need to have connections. And whilst you search for a gun, you raise many red flags, which give plenty of opportunities to intercept a wannabe gunman before they do anything. Even better, the time it takes for you to find a gun is the time you have to cool down and think about what you are gona do. This avoids many suicides or murders.

When guns are not normalized, then seeing one will raise a red flag. I knew a few "wannabe gangsters" who got a gun from somewhere and were showing it off. Few days later...their guns were taken away and I don't know what happened to them next.

US has normalized guns to the point where anyone can walk around in public in full body armor, a bag full of magazines, and an AR ready to shoot....and no one can say or do anything until he actually opens fire....because its normal and allowed to walk around like this.


Even worse, are conservatives who rush to the defense of NRA by saying:
"hey, it's not guns that kill people, it's a mental illness that's at fault"
....and at the same time, wholeheartedly fight against bills that fund mental healthcare...or healthcare in general.

People who claim to be patriots and don't recognize the problems in their country are not patriots...they ARE the problem.

Soon, we will see conservatives proposing brilliant ideas like
1) Hey, let's dig trenches around all public places
2) Let's give all cashiers shotguns....cos...you know, more guns.
3) Let's make sure that most Americans carry at least 2-3 grenades with them at all times. This way, they can stay in cover during an active shooting, and still take out the gunman.
4) Let's extend the "right to stand your ground" into any public place. If you ever feel threatened or scared by someone, you can "defend" yourself and execute the person who seemed angry.
5) All weapons sold in the US must come with a stamp "Approved by Jesus". Lets bring god back into the murder business.

So you point out that its become so divided because no one can reason with eachother and meet in the middle or come together fir a common solution. I agree 100%.

The other problem is, democrats are disingenuous and play on virtue signaling. They go on about states with lax gun laws, only care when it's a white shooter and completely ignore the astronomical gun violence in Chicago which has strict gun laws.

They give no flying fucks about the black people in that city. Dead children? There have been several children gunned down in Chicago from either getting caught on the crossfire or hit by a stay bullet. Or the wrong house in a drive by.

Where's the weeping democrats for these dead children? These dead black people? Where's BLM and the other fake civil rights groups.

One might conclude that they are more concerned with mass shootings when it's mostly white children getting shot. Because they have a whole lot to say about them when using their lives
as political pawns. They don't care when black children die. Especially if killed by another black person.

You can make the argument that the guns these mass shooters used should have not been so easy to get. However these were not law abiding gun owners. They were homicidal cunt criminals that committed a crime and who obviously gave no fucks about gun laws or any laws at all.

Most gun owners are law abiding citizens. I'm 100% sure none of the guns used to kill 179 people in Chicago were legal or law abiding citizens.
