Re: USA - Allen, Texas Active Shooter
Wow... glad the shooter was stopped at only 9 victims... His vest has at least 6 magazines untouched. Also, wtf Texas? Don't you all love your 2nd amendment rights more than life itself and think that a good shooter is the only thing to stop a bad one? Then where is this good shooter? Where is this civilian hero that should've stepped in? Probability of a private citizen within range of this guy I'm guessing is extremely high. Just goes to show no matter how big your concealed weapon is, if you are too afraid to use it, it's completely worthless. |

Re: USA - Allen, Texas Active Shooter
Unfortunately TX is purple, being rapidly invaded by the dems. Most people who carry do not go to malls in general. They are well aware they are breeding grounds for situations like this. Easy target zone. I've been in TX a few times and holy fuck the amount of GFZ's was horrifying. |

Re: USA - Allen, Texas Active Shooter
so what do ppl say when it's california or other states? all quiet. I love how media never tells ppl if they were on ssri's or anti psychotic drugs or meth. That's your issue. As for guns, he can get them anywhere. All criminals can get guns, even in canada. Google nova scotia massacre or new zealand. |

Re: USA - Allen, Texas Active Shooter
Wow, reading through all 15 pages of comments and i can safely say that the United States as a functioning country is pretty much done for. There is no more reasonable middle ground, no more discussion or understanding of nuances. Everybody seems to be firmly in their red or blue corner and fight each other without any reason, against all reason. The biggest and most likely enemy of USA comes from within. It's the conservative party that is going destroy the US one day and replace democracy with theocracy/autocracy. It's sad that things have come to this. Yeah...and that's the fucking problem of having a hundred million guns in your country. You don't get a gun that easily in Europe. Yes, it's possible to get one, but you have to work for it. You need to have connections. And whilst you search for a gun, you raise many red flags, which give plenty of opportunities to intercept a wannabe gunman before they do anything. Even better, the time it takes for you to find a gun is the time you have to cool down and think about what you are gona do. This avoids many suicides or murders. When guns are not normalized, then seeing one will raise a red flag. I knew a few "wannabe gangsters" who got a gun from somewhere and were showing it off. Few days later...their guns were taken away and I don't know what happened to them next. US has normalized guns to the point where anyone can walk around in public in full body armor, a bag full of magazines, and an AR ready to shoot....and no one can say or do anything until he actually opens fire....because its normal and allowed to walk around like this. Even worse, are conservatives who rush to the defense of NRA by saying: "hey, it's not guns that kill people, it's a mental illness that's at fault" ....and at the same time, wholeheartedly fight against bills that fund mental healthcare...or healthcare in general. People who claim to be patriots and don't recognize the problems in their country are not patriots...they ARE the problem. Soon, we will see conservatives proposing brilliant ideas like 1) Hey, let's dig trenches around all public places 2) Let's give all cashiers shotguns....cos...you know, more guns. 3) Let's make sure that most Americans carry at least 2-3 grenades with them at all times. This way, they can stay in cover during an active shooting, and still take out the gunman. 4) Let's extend the "right to stand your ground" into any public place. If you ever feel threatened or scared by someone, you can "defend" yourself and execute the person who seemed angry. 5) All weapons sold in the US must come with a stamp "Approved by Jesus". Lets bring god back into the murder business. |
