Re: UnitedHealthcare CEO Assassination
So from what I have seen/read the weapon wasn't malfunctioning? It was a bolt action pistol, thus needing to manually eject/chamber a round. I have read that the suppressor may have been 3D printed. Most things that I have seen are saying it was a B&T Station Six. Which in that case is integrally suppressed. If this is the weapon used it is on the pricier side (if bought new, $2100-2300) for a pistol. Hopefully more info to come in the following days. |

Re: UnitedHealthcare CEO Assassination
That would have been the obvious thing to do. The only logical reason to hang on to them would be if he had another target. I don't think he realized his face had been captured at the hostel and that it had been distributed everywhere. Apparently, that was the only time he had taken it off during his entire stay. Apparently, he got off the bus in Philly and traveled to Pittsburgh before doubling back and ending up in Altoona. That's not someone who feels they need to go into hiding. |

Re: UnitedHealthcare CEO Assassination
It cracks me up how many people are questioning why he had the I.D's and gun on him and how he might not be the guy. He obviously was too cocky for his own good and got caught with it. He is clearly the same person the the CCTV pictures released before his arrest.

Re: UnitedHealthcare CEO Assassination
Fully agree that we need more details to be settled. I did see that possibility going back through the comments but also found a photo from an arrest which highly suggested that it was not the Station Six 9. He could've had multiple weapons as the backpack was found separate from LM, irrc. A sub-Reddit (of course) also has a copy of the police report which states that both the firearm and suppressor were 3D printed. So it seems it wasn't the Six 9 but this could be wrong. Police are also very fallible and say that ghost guns are untraceable. This is fundamentally not true because ballistics and tool markings can match/correlate them to crime scenes. Yes, the lack of serial numbers makes them potentially harder to track but cops don't match serial numbers to weapons as much as they do ballistics. For decades LE has had methods of revealing/restoring scratched/filed off serial numbers as well so "obliterated" serials are also mostly not the norm. First link is about a new technique but references acid etching which is the old procedure. PDF for some reference. TLDR. Ghost guns are traceable (ballistics and machining marks, primarily). Don't believe the usual media and LE lies. Better picture of the weapon in question. The Six 9 and the gun in question are markedly different in appearance and form. Definitely worth tracking and this article ties many things together with references. |

Re: UnitedHealthcare CEO Assassination
Thanks! This is markedly different from the other one (with the link that wouldn't load for me yesterday) so I wonder if either one is legit. Ken also doesn't say how they sourced it, unfortunately. Perhaps we'll see a photo/scan of it online. Appreciate the info all the same! |

Re: UnitedHealthcare CEO Assassination
I think he's pretty credible and it aligns with snippets that had been widely reported. I didn't think the one circulating yesterday because it was written from a working class point of view. |

Re: UnitedHealthcare CEO Assassination
Anyone who's ever shot a gun with a suppressor knows how to clear it, plenty of ppl here saying that it must have been military or super special spy agency training ect, LMFAO, just a dood with a focused grievance is all, oh & a dirty tool ! |
