It's a terrible healthcare provider from just some basic research. Unfortunately, most people don't do basic research. From the looks of it, UnitedHealthCare is one of the worst. It seems to rely on AI to determine whether or not a claim should be approved/denied, and ties AvMed with the highest denial-rate of 33%, per statista in 2023. Frankly, stuff like this is unacceptable, and with the amount of people that suffer while these people walk the streets in their vibrant suits, it's good to see the little guy finally fight back. Stuff like this might need to happen more often, just to show that people are fed up with being taken advantage of. Anyway, Luigi Mangione is definitely going to get life in the can. The only ammo his lawyers had was his backpack being searched unlawfully, and with that off the table, he doesn't have much defense left. Since the death penalty is off the table, most likely and realistic outcome at this point (despite being unjust) is life without parole. |
