Re: Tourist Is Fatally Electrocuted By His Hotel Room's Jacuzzi
OK, but that says he died of a heart attack. I suppose if he had a weak heart in the first place a mild electric shock could tip him into an infarction. That could explain why the wife wasn't harmed when she immediately reached into the water to grab him.

Right. Such a thing would never happen in the "first" or "second" worlds. |

Re: Tourist Is Fatally Electrocuted By His Hotel Room's Jacuzzi
I don't agree. Look again: 43sec - Man entered water 45sec - Shock occurred 49sec - Wife's hand entered water In the video, the bulk of the water surges (from his jump into the pool) had dissipated by the time her hand touched the water. To me, the autopsy verbiage means the electrocution triggered the heart attack. A coroner would not use the word electrocution if s/he did not discover specific evidence of an electrocution. |

The water surges back and forth with a periodic motion once he fell into it. Still, you may be right with all of the above. I'm not going to argue the matter further. Speculations remain just that.
