A 17-year-old was apprehended after killing his stepfather with axe blows. According to the teenager, the crime occurred in defence of his mother, who had allegedly been assaulted with a wooden stick by her partner.

To the Military Police, the teenager stated that his mother's partner, Clanderson V.A., arrived home around 10 p.m. and began threatening her. Then, according to the account, he struck the woman on the head.

The teenager told police that he reacted to the assault by grabbing an axe and hitting Clanderson from behind. After that, still according to the testimony, he delivered several blows, which resulted in the victim being decapitated, and one arm and both lower legs being severed.

The teenager was caught and detained, and the axe was seized by police.

Good thing they allowed the children full, unfiltered access of the scene.
