Re: Texas - Motorcyclist Runs Red Light, Slams into Truck, Dies in Flames.

That's why we dont see a lot of European models on our roads... they're "safer"
Nope, you have a lot of foreign cars because they are cheaper, better and look cooler :)

Also, some stats, just for fun.

In 2024, 25% of total U.S. spending on imported cars was on vehicles from Europe ( more then half are foreign in general)

The European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (ACEA) reports that in 2024, EU-made car exports to the U.S. were about 757,000 vehicles, compared with just 170,000 U.S.-made cars exported to the EU.

Approximately half of vehicles sold in the U.S. are imported; around 60% of parts in U.S.-assembled models come from abroad ( This is why Trumps tariffs fucked over american car companies. They just dont build most components in the US and would have taken a hit. )

Also, US doesn't have that many cars on the roads soon anyways - since most cars being sold are actually "trucks". Those city folks need a truck to haul their cappuccinos and Mojito home from the mall.

Just cover the fucking man with anything. People are retarded. Get rid of on of the parts that create fire and it goes away.

Which country are you in? That is a good requirement: I’m surprised USA doesn’t have this requirement also. It would definitely be helpful in cases like this. I keep a fire extinguisher in my trunk just in case.
It's a good idea. It's not a requirement in UK either but I still carry one.

Be mindful keeping it in the boot that if you have a rear end hit you may not be able to open the lid. Best to screw a bracket into the floorpan somewhere. But in the boot is a lot better than not having one at all

6 feet of dirt should suffice.

i have a BMW S1k. that boy was cookin. you could hear that motor spooled up coming up to that intersection. any motorcycle safety course basically starts off by explaining that intersections are just about the biggest danger. kinda dumb to be cooking towards the sun and an intersection.

Re: Texas - Motorcyclist Runs Red Light, Slams into Truck, Dies in Flames.

...A motorcyclist sadly lost his life when he ran a red light

...how is this in any way "sad", or regrettable, or lamentable, and so on...

Because he most likely still has loved ones that cared for him, like his parents. I know it's hard to imagine for some to be loved but it happens.

If my imaginary kid died over some stupid shit i would be mad but also sad as it's still your idiotic kid dying a preventable death at such a young age.

Whats the point of being a dick. You could have done what the person above did...and just answer to the comment.

And as your own eyes showed you, you dont need some riddiculous self combustion scenario to be in need of a fire extinguisher( even though teslas in the US indeed do that sometimes ).

And no, i live in the EU and our cars have much higher quality than in the US. We also have safer roads and less accidents. Yet, every person here understands the risks of driving and the need for an extinguisher. And, in general, loose or no regulations correlates with a third world country in stead.
What EU country you live in as i'm also from an EU country. Never heard of any EU country that legally requires carrying a fire extinguisher.

Also, ignore those Americans that are shitting on other countries when they have a pedophile criminal for president and where mass shootings are a daily occurance.

You're getting a little bit too triggered over some redneck that probably doesn't wipe his own ass because he thinks it's gay.

Look at the state their country is in right now, just sit back and enjoy this whole shitshow from afar, like i do.
