I have fond memories of Clark University too located about 2 miles away from WSU. My brother majored in chemistry and psychology and got his Bachelor's degree there, but had a tantrum against Clark's administration and fucked up getting his Master's and left in a huff about 3 months before graduation. He told an amusing story of being in the auditorium one day where Jimi Hendrix was scheduled to perform. A couple of hours before the show, Hendrix was alone in the balcony playing a harmonica. The place was still relatively empty. Some student with a portable battery powered TV was playing it too loudly in the seats below and Hendrix started screaming at him and making threatening gestures with his fist and middle finger  This was probably circa 1968.I have a million of these stories about my old life in Worcester  |
