Re: The Shooting of Alton Sterling
Oh I agree with you on that 100%. My only problem is with people like the guy saying they were asking him for a weapons permit. He obviously didn't watch the vid. That's ask I'm saying. That's what I'm afraid of though...were between a rock and hard place where gun control is concerned

Re: The Shooting of Alton Sterling
I have a good friend whom I met on FB couple years ago now and talk to regularly, he lives in the UK and he told me a average citizen could potentially face prison time for being caught with say a 2"/50mm bladed folding pocket knife. I was completely flabbergasted, I couldn't ever imagine the states w/o guns let alone being able to carry a fucking folding pocket knife. No wonder the filthy muzzies are overrunning your country, you chaps can't defend yourselfs properly! If the citizens are left defenceless then that leaves you wide open for a proper fucking (as you say)by your government and illegal invaders, I feel sorry for the lot of you. My buddy wants to come visit the U.S. someday, for his sake I hope he moves himself and family here so he knows what citizen rights are. #BlackSkullsShatter |

Re: The Shooting of Alton Sterling
And no one bothers to mention they were stolen CDs. He's been in trouble for this same racket before with charges. The store owner so vehemently defending him also fails to mention he was getting a kickback from the dude, for years, while helping him sell stolen goods. If the police were on a witch hunt to get everyone connected, the store owner would have been arrested that night. |

Re: The Shooting of Alton Sterling
Even though we don't have all the facts but only 30 or 40 seconds of video, it clearly shows excessive force and blatant disregard for human life. Looks like the guy was just walking out the store minding his own business and then two cops start harassing him that eventually leads to getting tazed, thrown to the ground, and then shot. Wow! How many times have I read about this and other similar scenarios? Come on, did you really have to plug three holes into the guy. If that wasn't enough, the other idiot cop fires off three more rounds because after all, he can't pass up a chance to use his popgun and shoot a live human target. I won't get into how many different ways that this could have been avoided regardless of any long rap sheet this guy might have had. Because it's so pain staking obvious that it's much too difficult for these cops to use a little finesse. Instead it’s easier to just go straight for the jugular and show off their authority. It's that "comply and do what I say or else you suffer" mentality that's so easy to relate to hate and racism. These two were just big time assholes! |

Re: The Shooting of Alton Sterling
What the fuck is wrong with that country? I will _never_ get it. My place isn't perfect but it's far better than that shit, sorry guys. I even considered marrying some american who could then apply for a citizenship here, just to save them |

Re: The Shooting of Alton Sterling
That's a lot of words for getting it all wrong. He was out front, he didn't "walk out of the store minding his own business". He was set up out front, selling stolen CDs and threatened a guy with an illegal gun. And when the cops fail to neutralize a guy who goes to fire at a cop and hits a bystander (like say, the guys recording), you'd bitch they suck at their job. It IS comply and do what I say, because that's their job - tell people what to do, to ensure they are abiding by the law, and when they aren't stop them from breaking the law. You want to see what happens when a cop gives someone the benefit of the doubt? There's plenty of videos around this forum... unless you just want the worst case that became a national training video.... |
