I have so much sympathy for those two cops, why in the hell do we ask so much of our cops to protect us from pieces of trash like this guy? If he had laid on his stomach in the prone position I can promise you he would have lived. Fighting a cop when they get a call that you have a weapon is lethal.

I was a Police Officer. We were not trained to take a life as you all suppose!! But rather try to end disputes peacefully. You're all idiots and ignorant of the law clearly. Shooters pose a clear threat and must be nutreulized to save the public and general well being and safety of society immediately... Regardless. If you come at me with intended deadly force, I'm well with in my rights to meet you with matching and to stop you with matching force. If you come at me with a gun, I will draw down on you. If you threaten me or anyone around me with a gun, I will draw down on you... period. Even if it is only vocalized. I don't know if you have a gun or not. If you say you do... I will match you... period. Even if what you say is a bluff... an idol threat... it is is still a threat and until I can clear you.... I'm always on gaurd. I'm going to go home to my family. Even if I'm forced to send you home to yours in a body bag. That will be your choice. |

You an American cop? If so thanks for keeping people like this from killing civilians, be it with word, taser, gun, etc. I'm not saying there's not bad cops out there, just like there's bad civilians, but I always love hearing from ones who can speak with common sense, not just a one sided frame of mind  |
