No it wasn't. And people need to stop with that stupid way of thinking. It's likely why this person is dead. Because there's this large portion who are taught that you're not justified to use deadly force unless your life is in imminent danger at that moment.

But that's just stupid. People shouldn't have to wait until their life is in imminent danger to defend themselves. Because then it might be too late. People need to be educated. When a person is holding a gun on you. They perceive you as a threat. So any acts of aggression could result in getting shot. Because the person holding the gun can't read your mind. Taking an aggressive step towards them, when you're only 2 steps away, is extremely stupid. 9 times out of 10 you're getting shot. Because at that point, the person with the gun isn't fighting, isn't pushing, flexing and faking like they're going to throw a jab or bumping chests. At that point a step into their space and you're shot.

And this person, without a doubt, acted aggressive, and stepped into the shooters space. And the person probably did so out of ignorance, with your mindset. "You can't shoot me, I can do whatever I want, you don't have no right to kill me".

When a person has a gun, people need to be educated. Their mindset is they are not playing around. And they're not going to allow you to take their gun by allowing you to grab onto it. They're basically going to shoot you if you get too close. And this person was already too close, and they decided to get closer.
