Unknown gunmen have allegedly shot and killed two members of the Anambra State Vigilante Service at Aguluzigbo in Anaocha Local Government of Anambra State, South East Nigeria. A video shows two persons lying along the road. A man who spoke in Igbo language, believed to be a gunman, said, “You have seen what the unknown gunmen have done in Aguluzigbo now.” State Police Public confirmed there was an attack at Aguluzigbo by armed men. Speaking on the number of casualties, they said two persons sustained injuries. According to him, the Police and local vigilantes resisted the attack. He noted that normalcy has since returned to the area following the deployment of security operatives. “All I know is that the Police and Local vigilante resisted the attack, and two of their men sustained gun injuries. Normalcy has been returned to the area following the deployment of Police operatives. “The situation is being monitored; there is a deliberate operation to arrest the suspects.” Aguluzigbo is a town in the Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra State that comprises six villages, including Iruowelle, Etuleze, Ihulu, Ufa, Ifite, and Nduana. |

When I saw Nigeria in the title, I prayed it would be some of the good stuff. Alas, it was not to be. Some of my favourite vids were Nigerian. The two guys who were lit up for stealing potatoes is one of my all time faves, but can't seem to find that here anymore :( Maybe I didn't see it on this site... Does anyone else know the vid I'm on about ? |
