Low bid does not always rule in construction, especially in commercial construction. Bid proposals for projects over a certain dollar amount are usually put together by project managers who have long term relationships with the companies utilizing their services, and I have seen several lowballers get passed over due to this, questionable quality or track record, and many other factors.

As for the communication issue, I believe you're overstating it. The vast majority of construction companies, again, especially those who work on commercial projects, are aware that a significant segment of their workforce is ESL and rely on their foremen and other leadership (including inspectors) to bridge any critical gaps there may be. This has been the standard for decades - it's not some new epidemic of migrant workers fucking everything up because they don't speak much if any English. If anything, communication has improved thanks to Google Translate and continuously updated industry standards.

If there's a breakdown, it's probably on the accountability side. The workers in the video seemed to be aware their dead coworkers were using shoddy shit, which means either a foreman among them knew about it as well and allowed it to happen or they "employed third world practices" on their own. In any case, there will be an investigation and appropriate action taken. It looks like they're in the city, and government officials take that shit very seriously. Depending on how red the town is will affect how bad the consequences are. In a state that values corporate rights over individual rights, they'll probably get a slap on the wrist. If I lived there, I'd be more familiar with their politics.

Where I do agree with you is about poor training and sketchy knowledge. The destruction of unions has contributed greatly to this, as well as, of course, shady white business owners hiring migrants with questionable skill sets. But again, this does not, in my experience, tend to be the case with large commercial projects, which have much more at stake and are therefore usually more cautious.

You obviously know nothing about being in the field in construction these days. The last 5/6 years it has gotten to the point where it is next to impossible to find anyone white on a crew except the PM or super. In the last two years it has gotten to the point where it is next to impossible to even communicate to a lot of subcontractors due to NO one speaking English on site. The quality of workmanship has suffered due to this and it’s like a 3rd world country out there now and getting worse by the day. America HAS falllen and it’s shocking that so many just sit behind a computer and bitch about it but do absolutely nothing to erect change.

Totally by design. The globalists needed to do something about us uppity Americans, and there’s no better way to do that than by dragging our standards (for everything) down to the global average. When we’re too busy trying not to starve or freeze or not get murdered in gang warfare or lose everything to some corrupt official we’re no longer a threat to their plans for one world governance with them at the helm.
