The modern versions ofvthe latter now have two warheads, one destroys the explosive armour on the tank, the second is the penetrator. I believe they can breech any tank nowadays.

Russians actually have the most modern tanks in the world right now, basically Abrams but with a robot-controlled turret. Problem is anti-armor weapons and missiles especially are so well developed these days that traditional tanks are more and more becoming useless in battles.

Kinda weird how remote controlled toy planes have become the future of warfare. They're not just making tanks obsolete, they're also slowly replacing manned flights and fighter jets.

footage where there is a tractor, pickup and cargo truck all seen by chopper IR.

One is blasted qwik. One gets hit in his pickup front seat. One crawls under the cargo truck and thrn is blasted.

I'm a former M1 Abrams tank platoon leader. I can confirm that your statement is categorically false. I can think of like a dozen western and Israeli tank models which are definitely more advanced (and survivable against non-top attacking ATGM's)

And not sure what you're talking about with the "robot-controlled turret". That's nonsense. Modern tank and IFV turrets are powered by hydraulics. Russian tanks, German Leopards, American Abrams, Israeli Merkavas. Everything regarding a modern MBT's turret power system is hydraulic, not robotic. Why would you use robotics when it's not powerful enough, not fast enough, and too expensive. And too complicated. A maintenance nightmare.

I can go on for pages why Russian tanks are good, their ammunition is great, but by no means the most "advanced" tanks in the world. The main issue is survivability - a typical Russian tank you see on the battlefield today has no crew protection from detonating ammunition. Which makes it inferior to literally every modern western tank. I remember the first T-72 I got into at Ft Knox KY - and realized why Soviet armor is so unsurvivable. Russian tanks do not separate their crews from the main magazine compartment. Complete insanity. Separating crews from main ammunition storage is a standard feature in western tanks, as it should be. This lack of safety is also why the Russians rely so much on ERA (explosive reactive armor) panels which are so prominent on their turrets and hulls. Even then it's often not enough.
