Either another tank to the side firing down those side-streets... or more likely shoulder-fired anti-tank weapons. The modern versions ofvthe latter now have two warheads, one destroys the explosive armour on the tank, the second is the penetrator. I believe they can breech any tank nowadays. |

This is the type of thing I had in mind.
