so you are suggesting we let don't even try to save the sad people who try to kill themselves? we just let them burn to death in public or allow nature to finish them off, possibly slowly and painfully, if they survive the fall or gunshot or whatever?

Actually, that's a good idea. Save them, but then put them in suspended copper baskets in the middle of town square, and then just wait for nature to finish them off. Maybe even, if we heard of a storm brewing that could bring with it the electrical relief of lightning, we could feed them and give them polysporin until it arrived. But at the first sound of thunder, they're cut off. |
