Re: Police Executing Unarmed Daniel Shaver
To you...possibly. I have seen numerous videos that showed perps make sudden moves like that - that pulled a weapon - and ended up killing a cop. It looked to me exactly the same as if he were going for a gun. The cop couldn't take the chance. You can have your opinion and I can have mine, but it is the cop whose life is on the line. |

Re: Police Executing Unarmed Daniel Shaver
Surely you have to see the weapon before you pull the trigger. This is how British police are trained. It could be too late by then, yes , but then there would be no doubt. A British cop would go to jail for this. It seems to me that these cops treat it like the Wild West, quickest to the draw wins regardless. I'm pro gun, pro cop and center-right (politically) but this cop couldn't wait to pull the trigger...literally. Just my 2 pence or cents |

Re: Police Executing Unarmed Daniel Shaver
You're assuming she was a hooker to make him seem more of a shit, I disagree with you this time which rarely happens. The cop in everything he said just told the guy his trigger finger was itching and begging him to give him an excuse to fire. This cop was an asshole for sure.

Nothing wrong done here! Clear instructions were given, the perp reached back, perp put down. Period! |

Re: Police Executing Unarmed Daniel Shaver
So let's say everything you say is true, looking at it from the officers point of view he is dealing with a drunk, high, scared man who is suspected of having a gun, not thinking straight and is repeatedly reaching behind his back...

Re: Police Executing Unarmed Daniel Shaver
In the hotel room. This is what got the cops called on him in the first place; someone saw him pointing a pistol-shaped weapon out of the window of the hotel. That is a dumb thing to do, especially after recent events. I have no tolerance for drunk fools. |

Re: Police Executing Unarmed Daniel Shaver
So what if someone said he was pointing a gun? Anyone can say that and this is what is going to happen to innocent people. THis cop is a murderer and a Coward. Hopefully he gets killed in prison or the street.
