Re: Philly Police Shoot and Kill Knife Wielding Man
The BLM movement should make all its followers practice the mantra below if BLs really Matter for them: Drop the gun, drop the knife, drop the weapon. |

Re: Philly Police Shoot and Kill Knife Wielding Man
This video was shown on CourtTV today. Two black law enforcement officers said that the shooting was justified. They said the officers acted as they were trained to do, which was to keep backing away and establishing a safe zone between the officers and the perp. Not every situation is a BLM situation. |

Re: Philly Police Shoot and Kill Knife Wielding Man
A clearly justified shoot yet there's still rioting. We can't live like this. His assumed mom tried to get him to stop but he pushed past her towards two armed officers who tried to retreat yet he persisted. Wish granted. The only critique I can give of the officers is that, if one of them had a taser the other could've provided lethal cover but I don't know if they even had one or if it had already been deployed. |

Re: Philly Police Shoot and Kill Knife Wielding Man
I think I can see where you are coming from and partly agree...I am not black, but I am so white that I reflect sunlight...It's bad...My mother raised 3 children on her own without anyone's help. But I think you are missing a very key piece of evidence, especially in Philly. You are a product of your environment and who you associate with is a big part of how you choose to live your life moving forward. But the point I want to make is simple... Don't make excuses for others and pass them off as a product of race. A lot of times, that is your first indication of something is very wrong when the first words out of somebody's mouth is they accept that type of behavior and it's considered acceptable because they've had a rough life and it's not fair to treat this person wrongly because of such circumstances. That's what politics are doing to this country. Wrong = Still Wrong not Wrong = We can let this slide because they've had a rough life and we should all cut them a break because they Dindoonuffin' Wrong. |
