What idiot shoots into the air? You know what goes up must come down. So what happens when an innocent person far away from the scene gets struck by a bullet because some retard decided to let a round loose across town?

And all this talk about shooting people in the legs...I'm sick of hearing it, in a stressful situation like that it isn't easy to hit someone in the legs not to mention if you miss and the bullet hits any pavement under them, guess what...now you have a ricochet and a bullet flying off in whatever direction which could hit an innocent bystander.

As far as tasers are concerned, they don't always penetrate clothing deep enough or work correctly unless you are a mere few feet away from someone. Would any of you volunteer to be that close to a man with a knife in his hand? I'm not. I'll be at a safe distance with a gun like anyone smart would do.

You cannot come at the cops with knife and expect to “go home” it’s not in the cards. Black or not. It is what is. U cannot defend that. They gave him ample opportunity to put knife down. In this case it was justified.

I’m not defending this guy in the slightest, however I’m just posing the question that if this chap was white, would he have been taken down in the same way?
Here in the UK he would have been tasered, obviously because the average ‘Bobby’ doesn’t carry.
I’m just not seeing active intent with aggression. Yes he’s wandering about carrying a knife but at what point is he threatening or ‘going for’ anyone?
I appreciate there’s a case for ‘don’t leave it too late’ but surely he didn’t need killing until he attempted to stab someone.

Sad situation tbh. I've seen what ppl can do with a knife in short distances. I would have shot too after seeing ppl being opened up by someone rushing with a knife. Sad he was mentally ill, but its not a license to kill.
