Re: Parasailing Teenager Dies After Taking Off Harness and Falling
That looked like suicide… there’s no way to not know how high you are… simply look down… if a person doesn’t know about terminal velocity and how water is basically concrete when hit from a certain height then you should stay inside the house

Re: Parasailing Teenager Dies After Taking Off Harness and Falling
I suffer from panic attacks and I know a lot of people say that if she was having a panic attack she wouldn't have jumped. Having a panic attack, we can do crazy shit. She definitely was having a panic attack. No one can say what a person having a panic attack would do if you've never been I'm that position. I have no idea what I would do. Since I'm also terrified of heights, you wouldn't get me up there, but if I was, I want to say I would hold on for dear life, but maybe with the height, I would try to jump down thinking if I didn't, I'd have a heart attack. Panic attacks are fucked up and no one knows how it played out. She looked scared, so that was no suicide. This is just my opinion.

Re: Parasailing Teenager Dies After Taking Off Harness and Falling
Apparently the flight was offered to her for free by the company when she was approached on the beach. Witnesses say they heard her yelling “put me down” before she unbuckled. Looks like she decided she didn’t like it up there, panicked and thought landing in the water was safer than being up there. When your survival instincts work against you… |

Re: Parasailing Teenager Dies After Taking Off Harness and Falling
This could have been panicked decision to "get off" the ride before its too late. She just didn't realize that it was already too late. I think i've had similar reaction to something at some point, and i took a fall as well, but i can't remember where. Either a ziplining or custom built and very unsafe swing :D |

Re: Parasailing Teenager Dies After Taking Off Harness and Falling
Me thinks stupid cunt deliberately & methodically with 100% awareness and under no duress or distress hurriedly unbuckled the harness (with operational knowledge) took a thrill ride not realizing she was going to drop like a rock and hit the water at ? what speed.
