Re: Parasailing Teenager Dies After Taking Off Harness and Falling
The "spit" looks like a necklace to me, but I agree with everything else. But now the question is why would she have a panic attack if she's an adrenaline junkie |

Re: Parasailing Teenager Dies After Taking Off Harness and Falling
As a pilot, I can tell you that once you're above 100'-ish, if there is no reference of taller objects/buildings, it is very hard to judge how high up you are. Standing on the top of a building, I am very terrified of the heights. Opening the door of my Cessna and looking straight down--no sense of height nor "stomach wrenching fear of heights". If she was an adrenaline junkie, it could easily look like a "oh hey his is just like a cliff dive!". Now, on the other hand, she could have been simply retarded. |

I lean towards suicide as she looks very determined to jump, there is no hesitation before committing to it. However, it is very possible she made a terrible misjudgment.

Re: Parasailing Teenager Dies After Taking Off Harness and Falling
in better days. The relative of the injured teenage girl described in a shocking voice how the accident happened, and he also revealed that the relative who was with the girl did not see the actual act of the terrible tragedy. On the fateful morning, they went to the beach. They didn't even buy that parasailing ticket, but a young man on the beach suddenly approached them and offered them a free ride. She agreed and asked her cousin to take pictures and videos of her going parasailing. She was waving while she was parasailing from that lower height, you could see that she was enjoying herself, and then they missed the hill and they started to lift her higher and higher. She slipped out of her aunt's sight and that's when the tragedy happened, so the aunt didn't see the tragedy, said the inconsolable relative. |

That looks like a panic attack. Although I have panic disorder and can’t say that I would do this amidst a panic attack. But people do do crazy stuff when your heart rate spikes and you can’t think clearly.
