Re: Mother Murdered in Front of Her Son
Some gang member I knew since we were kids got shot a few houses away from my house, in front of her mother (who is also part of the gang that controls my neighborhood). I don't feel sorry for them, karma is a bitch. My point is that shit like this happens in the hoods of LA and other urban areas in the US with gang activity. Don't be such an ignorant xenophobe.

Re: Mother Murdered in Front of Her Son
This breaks my heart. I cannot imagine the pain he felt as he watched that. When he ran over to her, and opened the door, then he turned and just got on his knees and fell to the street in agony...it ripped at my heart. Regardless if she married a drug dealer, that doesn't mean she deserved to die. You never know the circumstances. Maybe she did it for protection, or to ensure there was money to provide for her son. They are both victims, and my heart just aches for her son =( |

Re: Mother Murdered in Front of Her Son
It actually makes perfect sense. If you can't get to the person you want to kill, you kill his family or someone he loves. He'll either quit selling drugs and go on the run leaving no competition, or get angry and try to get revenge most likely leading to him making mistakes and leaving himself more open where he is an easy target to kill, also leaving no competition. Well at least thats how i would do it if i was a drug dealer

Re: Mother Murdered in Front of Her Son
No reason to do this in front of a young child. I remember the old days here in Vegas (not first hand, im only 31) the mob would NOT ever harm an enemy in front of a child. Even criminals as they were, they still had certain "standards"...
