Re: Mexican Man Confesses to Abusing Children, Is Beheaded
I like that they used a sharp machete. Makes for a clean repair for the funeral home.

Re: Mexican Man Confesses to Abusing Children, Is Beheaded
Not true. Out of all criminal offenders they have some of the lowest re-offence rates. Quite often part of the problem in dealing with these criminals is that the victims(family members) don't want to see their parent or guardian punished, because despite everything they still have love for them. So this kind of thing probably won't help and will add guilt to the already abused victims. |

Re: Mexican Man Confesses to Abusing Children, Is Beheaded
Quite honestly, the victims will suffer lifelong trauma regardless of whether their molester dies or not. Eliminating any chance of a predator ever becoming free to victimize another child is paramount. According to a study from the National Institute of Justice, the recidivism rate is between 25-40 percent for re-offenders.Anecdotally, I worked in the field of child predator investigations for many years and had the opportunity to arrest several people repeatedly. Although, not always for the same offense. It's mostly the younger men who engage in recidivist behavior. But they tend to alter their M.O. and victims after release. Usually, instead of preying on children physically they move to cultivating child pornography, conversing with children online, and following kids at parks, malls and beaches for grooming and photos to satisfy their prurient needs, believing that these are harmless alternatives. |
