The article I read said he had a serious head injury, too. But having your finger nearly bitten off is also a valid reason to go to the ER.

And a person absolutely has the right to use deadly force to protect themselves from serious bodily harm. It doesn't have to be imminent death to warrant deadly force in self-defense. Police are allowed to use that reasoning just as civilians are.

isnt this murder? in europe they cant shoot if there life is not in danger. biting a finger of a police isnt a reason to shoot ans kil.
His life was in danger though, that suspect could've transmitted life-threatening diseases with that nasty bite or taken his fingers off
