Colombia - Young Man Crushed by Truck.
A tragic traffic accident was recorded this Sunday on the Troncal del Caribe, in the Ciénaga – Barranquilla section. The incident was recorded at kilometer 37; when the collision occurred that ended with the tractor incinerated. It was unofficially known that a motorcyclist lost his life and was identified as Y.J.M, 22 years old, a native of Barranquilla. Regardless of him being a bit broken and bleeding he’s alive while the other person is not. Relative ? I guess if you think being alive, broken and bleeding after your buddy got completely crushed and spread out over the pavement isn’t lucky then I’m not sure I understand your statement.  |

I can tell you that a pelvic injury that substantial could still be fatal, not to mention the nerve damage and possible colostomy bag for the rest of your life, just to name a few. The dead dude likely checked out with no pain...

To add to what M.F.D.B. said, bleeding from your ass after an accident like that can be a sign of bad things to come. A rupture in your stomach can lead to its powerful acids going places it shouldn't, which can then lead to a nasty bacterial infection, like sepsis. This is actually one of the most painful ways to die. You could also just internally bleed out. So yeah, he could be in worse shape than he appears.

Understood. Then at that level maybe the guy who ended up being “road smear” could almost be called the lucky one in that situation, but again, *almost.
