Re: Man Stabbed in Brisbane, Australia

So the man gets stabbed in the neck and the camera man continues to film and not help? WTF?!!! Jordan Peele encapsulated the issue with this society with his new movie "Nope", how we'll do anything for that "Footage" to go Viral, even if it's at our detriment or others.
Whats he gonna do, tie a tourniquet around the dudes neck ? Thats what John Wayne Gacy used to do to his boys.

In this case he probably did the correct thing, because now the police know EXACTLY what happened and who was responsible

Poor kid.
But mad respect for helping out his friend. I doubt many of us would have reacted the same way if someone had a knife in their hand.

Looks as though shock set in instantly and his passing was not painful.

One quick slash, that’s all it takes to put your lights out.
Never take minimal brain cells to a knife fight, it never ends well.
You could see him standing there thinking did what I think just happened, really happen?
When he hit the floor he knew for sure it really did happen.

Best thing he could've done after deciding to risk going hands on without gloves would've been to pack the wound with some shirt and apply pressure until help arrived, instead of just letting him bleed out while he was going unconscious.

The prognosis is still shit, and you do take a risk because you dont know what's in his blood, but you'd be giving him a shot. We can repair your arteries and replace your blood as long as you don't start going into multiple organ failure.

Now that you mention it, I did try googling first aid measures for a decapitation, but I couldn't find any

Re: Man Stabbed in Brisbane, Australia

The bright, spurting bleed is definitely arterial. Had his carotid zapped. When one of those big cables get severed your time is very limited.

I had a loss (I'm a risk manager by trade) involving a girl sitting on a sink in a club bathroom, hanging with one of her friends. It broke and sliced through her thigh all the way to her femur. (Porcelain can have an edge like a razor when it breaks.) The scene photos looked like a slaughterhouse and her friend's statement said she was dead in under 30 seconds, just like this guy.

Yeah, I've seen a lot of nasty injuries from broken toilets. It's crazy how much damage they can do.

This woman was just trying to change a light bulb when the toilet shattered from under her. According to the story, her kid was there and saw it go down.

Those photos looked a lot like the ones taken in the club bathroom. The wound, too honestly.
