A cadet from the Heroica Escuela Naval Militar died during practice because his parachute did not open during a training exercise in Campeche state, Mexico.

The victim jumped from a helicopter along with seven other cadets. Seconds later, the cadet, identified as Velázquez, crashed into a grassy area.

He kind of reminds me of Empire State Building Suicide Lady from the 1930s (?) except his face doesn't so much as say "I'm sleeping here" as "I'm dead here". Nice that the cameraguy so enthusiastically ran up to the corpse for a close-up when most other human beings wouldn't have
