If this was in the US in a 'Stand your ground' state, he would be going free. He'll probably get fucked over in Australia though. Even if the jury doesn't agree, I'd rather be tried by 12 than carried by 6.

One thing I've learned from reading the comments on these posts is that a lot of people on this website are obsessed with talking about China  USA has more military bases in countries than not and uses smaller countries as pawns against relics of the Cold War... If anyone is invading anywhere, it's the US. We can, and we do! We have installed our own puppets in governments all over the world to ensure we don't pay dick for natural resources.
