Re: Man Hanging from Ledge Falls to His Death
Well according to my calculations, it will take him 5 seconds to reach 88mph which is enough speed to do time travel. However he was missing the other vital component, the flux capacitor. He needed enough electrical charge to generate 1.21gigawatts electricity while simultaneously traveling at 88mph to achieve time travel. |

Re: Man Hanging from Ledge Falls to His Death
I need to brush up on my mechanical physics, lol. Anyway, interesting results, man. I was especially surprised by how high the velocity was just prior to impact, which was much higher than I would have guessed. If I am not mistaken, the velocity (ignoring friction caused by air resistance) is independent from the mass of a falling object. Even so, I wonder what the value of the normal force was upon impact with the ground. I guess we would need to know how much mass this poor chap had. Sorry, I love geeky stuff like this (not what happened to this man of course). But, thank you for taking the time to share these results. |

Re: Man Hanging from Ledge Falls to His Death
I completely missed seeing this one when it was posted. What a bloody long fall that was! Just watching it twice has made my stomach go weird + my head dizzy. Props to the cameraman for capturing all of the action.
